Inspired by a very odd image that came to my head as I was thinking over the wardrobe scene from The Christmas Invasion.


For the Love of Wool

“Look what I’ve found.”

                Interrupted from his pouring over of the Tardis readouts, the Doctor looked up in the direction of Rose’s laughing voice. His eyes narrowed when he perceived the object held unceremoniously in her hands. 

            “Can you believe it? Who would wear something so ridicu…” Her last word was cut short as the object in question was abruptly snatched away.

            “Mine.” 

            “I just…”

            “Mine.” 

            “I was only…”

            “Mine.” 

            With one last glare, the Doctor stocked off into the interior of the Tardis, gently caressing the stripy wool scarf against his cheek as its long tail trailed behind him.
