If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence (or more) from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favorite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to wet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).
The yellow and pink rangers helped Jack to his feet. Squinting in the bright sunlight, he swayed slightly, then abruptly grimaced. “Guys…”
Luckily for Bridge, Syd and Z, they correctly interpreted the expression on Jack’s face and quickly got out of the way. Sky was not so fortunate as the red ranger threw up on his shoes.
“You did that on purpose.”
What Would You Do (Needs some ideas worked out before it can proceed)
Elizabeth Degaldo stormed through the hallways towards the prison cells where Jack was being held. The red ranger was sitting on top the bench, arms wrapped around his bent knees as he leaned against the wall his eyes lost in brooding despair. He looked up only when he heard the yellow ranger’s voice as she commanded the bars to open. The look of wicked fury in Z’s eyes made him cringe and he couldn’t help the inclination to back up further against the wall.
“You… You… You idiot!” Z’s voice finally broke through her silent rage as she stalked towards him.Shared Misery (A silly something that was supposed to be quickly done but lost a bit of momentum)
At that point, the door opened and in entered the leader of the rangers wrapped in a red blanket, his dredlocks sticking out in every direction. He stumbled inside letting the door close behind him.
“Jack,” protest Syd at the sudden invasion. “What are you doing in here?”
“I came to see how you guys were doing.” He collapsed on the end of Z’s bed as she groaned. “Besides it’s miserable feeling miserable on your own. Quit it, Z”
The yellow ranger who had been kicking the new lump on her bed gave a few last half-hearted kicks before saying. “You can’t sleep here.”
“Why not?”
“Because this is my bed and I’m still mad at you.”
That's actually just my SPD fics. I couldn't find a good quote from Once a Ranger which is not a good sign. There are also about 8 other unfinished fics in my unfinished fics folder. I just went over them and kept going "I wrote this? When did I write this?"
