Not Chapter 17 of Once a Ranger

What happens when you try to write in your head and can't put anything down for several hours: Ideas running amok!

In the Aquitar Ranger base, Tommy was busy flirting with Delphine the White Ranger. "You know us white rangers should really stick together."

Suddenly, Rocky burst into the room singing, "I'm so glad I'm not a frog!"

Adam appeared behind him yelling, "Get back here you stupid ape." Brandishing Saba, he began chasing him around the room.

"Hey! That's my sword!" protested Tommy.

"You always get the cool swords," whined Adam stopping momentarily in his pursuit of Rocky. "It's my turn now."

"Give it back!"

Just then Rocky began singing again. "Bloop Bloop went the little green frog one day."

Adam gave chase again with Tommy following behind shouting threats as he tried to retrieve his sword.

"My boyfriend!" cried Tanya as she came upon the scene. "Don't hurt Adam. I still need him." She soon joined the race.

The four kept running in circles around the room. When Billy came in to check out the commotion, he shook his head. "Now this is the real reason I left Earth."

"Wait a minute!" Andros yelled as he entered. "What are you doing? This is suppose to be about me! Me, me and only m..." He was clobbered unconscious from behind.

"I've always wanted to do that," Zhane announced smirking. "I'm off to get Karone away from that Leo jerk." He left.

Meanwhile the runners were getting faster and faster, but they were once more interrupted as Jason entered the room. "Is it time for me to appear yet?"

Everyone stopped and took out their copies of the Once a Ranger outline. "Sorry, bro," said Tommy. "You're not in this for several more chapters."

Jason snapped his fingers. "Curses," he said and left.

The chase continued collisions becoming more and more likely as they careened across the floor. Adam took a swipe at Rocky with Saba but he missed and buried the sword in one of the walls. There was a sudden flash of light stopping everyone in their tracks.

"That's it!" yelled Saba. The sword floated menacingly above them, eyes glowing. "I've had it with you. First you treat me like a slave, then you lock me in a glass cabinet for three years and now this. No more! You think you're so smart. I'll have you know I'm the evil power behind everything that's been happening. I'm the one who destroyed those planets and took the rangers. It was me!"

"What have you done with my friends?" demanded Andros having just regained consciousness.

"Muhahahahahha!" Saba laughed evilly before going into a coughing fit. "Sorry, still working on the evil laugh." He continued his threats. "You'll never see your friends again!"

"You mean..."

"Yes! I have forced them to join the banana worshiping cult of Cestrus three."

Andros fell to his knees letting out a loud dramatic cry. "Nooooooooooooo..."

He was knocked back into unconsciousness by Tommy. "Let that be a reminder to you that I'm the real red ranger round here."

"Prepare to meet your doom rangers!"

"But you're just a sword. Are you sure you're the evil power behind all this?" questioned Adam.

"Of course, I am," replied Saba indignant.

"He's right," agreed Rocky. "I'm mean you don't even have any arms."

"So?"

"How do you manage to control all those evil minions?"

"I just do."

"He's lying," said Tommy the others nodding in agreement.

"I'm not."

"Just ignore him." The rangers turned their backs on the sword.

"I can shoot lasers out of my eyes," Saba whined, but the rangers were now busy trying to remember what they had been doing, so Saba just leaned himself up in a corner and sulked.

"Now where were we?" asked Adam thoughtfully. "Oh, yeah." He threw a punch at Rocky knocking him unconscious. Then Tommy knocked out Adam, Tanya knocked out Tommy and Delphine knocked out Tanya.

The white Aquitar ranger brushed her hands together. "Much better." She went back to her computer console to continue the game of Spider Solitaire the other rangers had rudely interupted.

You might get some spoilers about what is going to be happening in future chapters of Once a Ranger, but truthfully this has very little to do with that story anymore.
