Supernatural 7x02

daylight_darknightHave I ever mentioned that I love Bobby's house. I really, really love Bobby's house. It always reminded me of my Great Uncle's place. He has a hundred year old farmhouse over on the Island and we used visit there every year when I was a kid. The places aren't really that similar, but they both have the same feel. Both are old houses completely full of old knickknacks and surrounded by extremely large yards full of hidden places to explore. It was an amazing, kind of magical, place to stay as a kid and some of that magic is still there when I visit these days. I always imagined that Sam and Dean felt the same way about Bobby's.
So, yeah, I'm kind of bummed out that Bobby's house is gone. When I was watching the beginning of the episode, I kept looking at the little details in the kitchen and thinking again about how great the place is and that I really need to write another fic set there. And now it's gone. :(
The scene with Dean finding Cas' coat was heartbreaking, but we know it's very likely Cas is going to come back. It's extremely unlikely however that they'll bring back Bobby's home.
