What happened to the bus that was supposed to take me to the park?

What happened to the workshop that was supposed to be going on at said park?

Why hasn't anyone told the raccoons by the lagoon that they're supposed to be nocturnal?

Who keeps giving flowers to the stone lady?

One of the few things my tiny tiny tiny apartment had going for it was a giant window with stained glass at the top and when the sunlight hit late in the afternoon, I'd have rainbows all over my walls. But now they've put in new windows and taken away the stained glass, so no more rainbows. :( I know the new windows are good since they'll open all the way, actually keep out the cold air in winter, and won't get covered in condensation and grow mildew like the antique ones I had before, but I'm going to miss my rainbows. I need to buy prisms, a whole load of prisms and hang them up over the new windows.

The bad news is I will be without a stove for an indeterminate amount of time. The good news is that after five years with an ancient stove that never worked properly I will finally get a new one. The real good news is that the fire the old stove started didn't burn the building down.

I drink Yogi tea. I like Yogi tea because they put little messages on their teabags. Such as: Dignity and tranquility last forever; Life is a chance. Love is infinity. Grace is reality; and Be happy as long as you breath. I compost my teabags. I know I should take the tags off before I compost them, but I'm lazy so I don't. Today, I went to throw my compost in the bin outside and I notice one of the tags. As I'm dumping this pile of moldy, slimy, rotting fruits and vegetables, I read: Whatever you're doing is the most beautiful thing.

They locked out the games on the computers at work.  :P Just when I was getting close to beating my supervisor's high score at pinball.

Now, I'll have to actually concentrate on more important stuff at work like writing fanfics! :)



PS: If anyone is currently waiting for me to write more PR fics, I'm afraid all my PR muses have temporarily gone on vacation. They were replaced by Robin Hood muses, but before they could finish anything the Robin Hood muses were replaced by Narnian muses. So standby for 'Prince Caspian' fic.  Unless, of course, my muses get replaced once again.

Have I ever mentioned how indecisive I am?

It took a long time but somehow I have managed to vote in pr_heroes. Not in every category unfortunately because I didn't have time to read everything, but everything I did read was amazing! It made me realize I haven't actually been reading that much fanfic recently. (At least that's because I've been doing some writing for once) I'm really behind in reading some of the stories I've been following. I should take some time to read the stuff I missed. In fact, I should take time to track down everything ever written by everyone on my friend-list and read it. Why do you all have to be such good writers?!!

Anyone know if you can boil an egg in an electric kettle? How about pasta? Can you fry an egg in a toaster oven? Can you toast soup? I don't do much cooking (Not that I can't, I'm just lazy and never bothered buying much in the way of cooking implements and ingredients when I left home), but what cooking I do do usually involves either boiling water on the stove and throwing things in or heating up soup. And today my stove decided to die. Of course, I don't have a microwave because that would be too useful at this point. After not having one for a few years, I didn't miss it much and then it was microwave or toaster oven because I don't have room for more then one in my tiny kitchen so I went with toaster oven because I didn't have a toaster and the oven never really worked. I shouldn't be surprised that the stove died. The silly thing is probably from the seventies or possibly sixties and has one knob for two burners: 1 is high for the front burner, 2 is high for the back burner, 3 is high for the front burner and medium for the back burner, 4 is medium for the back burner, 5 is medium for the front burner and low for the back burner, and 6 and 7 are just so low I never use them. And the oven would only turn on if you had the burners on 4 to 7. You never know how important a thing is until its gone. Now half the food in my fridge seems useless. Of course, my dad just trumped me by phoning to tell me he hadn't had hot water for two weeks. I'm really hoping it doesn't take that long to replace/fix the stove. I have my fingers crossed for a replacement. My landlady is nice and I haven't asked for anything before. The problem though is there isn't even a proper outlet in that corner. It has two prong holes instead of three so they would need to rewire my place a bit as well.

Not that I've actually seen more than a couple episodes of Pokemon and never played the game (I just have a brother with a giant Pikachu), but still it's cute. :)
