I love this interpretation of Human!Cas--he may not be a hippie, but he is a hugger, which is kind of adorable. And I love the idea that he helped Dean and Bobby by needing their help when Sam wasn't there--like you emphasized with Bobby, they both are constitutionally predisposed to fester without someone to look after. D'awwwww.
