Beautifully written, and wonderful imagery indeed. Really brings it to life. I feel as if I'm there, standing awkwardly in the corner, intruding on a moment they wouldn't really like me to see... The repetition is very effective too. It keeps bringing it back to you, how strange and wrong it is, how damaged Castiel is. And it also gives the feeling that Sam's a bit broken. Although he's meant to be the strong one in the room, doing the watching, it feels like his mind keeps looping around, treading the same ground... There's an angel asleep on the couch.

I'm left seriously wanting more :D Would love to see events leading up to the hellhound encounter, how Cas becomes a chew toy *sob*, and then up to this beautiful moment... pleeease write more! :D
